On Monday morning around 2-3 a.m. Karla Sanchez, 22 years old, had passed away in a car accident. I'm a bartender for Cache Creek Casino Resort. I am also a good friend of Karla among many others. Her death had hit us all very hard on Monday upon hearing the news. She was the sweetest person one could have the honor of knowing, she could brighten any room with the smile she brought to the table. She left behind a 5 yr old daughter. We all mourn for this beautiful person everyday and it saddens us knowing the cost of the arrangements for her funeral are very high, and the family is having a hard time as it is. The Casino has sent some money to help the family out but its still not enough. What myself and many others would like to do is start an all day fundraiser to help the family with the cost of everything. We don't have an exact date for this fundraiser just yet but we ask for anyone's help to support what we are trying to do. Anyone that has talent, whether it be; a group of dancers, any singers (english and Spanish), D.J.'s, you name it. Anyone who performs or does an act of some type please know there isn't a payment being given, 100% of proceeds goes directly to the family, but performing would help any looking to get their name out there and heard.
